There are a number of local transfer companies that we are happy to recommend to get you from the airport to resort and back again.
My Mountain Transfer will get you to the resort of your choice quickly and easily at competitive rates, so you can make the most of your time in the mountains with more time to Snowboard or Ski.
Three Vallee Transfers offers private transfers as well as an excellent shared shuttlebus service from and to Geneva airport. The shuttle service offers drop off and and pick off straight at your chalet door and has several daily departures at the weekends and one per day on a weekday. This is an excellent option for smaller groups. For more details please see here.
G Taxi offers a very competitive transfer on a Sunday for groups of 9 to 12 people at €50 per person
Meribel Transfers offer a reliable transfer service from Geneva, Lyon, Grenoble & Chambery Airports and for larger groups they have a 12 seater transfer bus.

This has proved to be a favourite option and very cost effective for smaller groups. Car Hire is usually cheaper in France than Switzerland but please note that French hire cars are NOT fitted with winter tyres as standard whereas Swiss hire cars are (i.e. from the Swiss side of Geneva Airport). We therefore always recommend to hire from the Swiss side where possible.
The roads up to resort and in resort are cleared regularly and snow chains are usually not needed however please make sure you always include them in your hire as you never know when we will get that big dump of snow and you wouldn't want to be without the chains if you need them.
Please see a list of car hire companies on the right. We have found that the top one, www.holidayautos.co.uk, is usually the cheapest but do have a good look around to compare prices.
Meribel is approximately an 9 hour drive from Calais, almost all on motorway. On the right is a list of links to a selection of the ferry companies and the tunnel for making the journey across the channel.
A daytime and an overnight service is available from Eurostar from London to Moutiers; from there the transfer time to the chalet is only 20 minutes.
